Aspiring bakers can now recreate the best cakes in Auckland, with the launch of ‘The Caker Take-Home Cake Mix’.
Jordan Rondel, famously known as ‘The Caker’, has been humbly creating beautiful cakes since 2010, making bespoke cakes for a clientele spanning Auckland’s chicest celebrations. The rustic aesthetic combined with enchanting flavours dreamed up in her Karangahape Road kitchen have become her signature, and adored by media across New Zealand.
The latest extension of her business is Jordan’s first foray into at-home baking, allowing her supporters to effortlessly recreate her most popular flavours at home.
“This has been a dream of mine for a while now, and I’m so excited to be able to share my cakes with New Zealand! I’ve chosen simple yet delicious flavours, so everyone can have a little bit of ‘The Caker’ at home.”
The mixes are available in Dark Chocolate & (optional) Chilli, or Triple Coconut & Raspberry. In true ‘The Caker’ style, both mixes are vegan, and comprised of only the finest ingredients, such as organic unbleached flour, ground almonds, and pure vanilla powder.
The delightful mixes come to life with the simple addition of coconut oil, coconut milk, and any other sweet treats you may desire. Jordan’s favourite adornments include crushed pistachios, fresh flowers, and glossy berries, but bakers at home can decorate as inspired as their imaginations lead.
Jordan has loved seeing the pages of her highly successful recipe book come to life on Instagram, and is looking forward to seeing these wholesome mixes echo that too.
