A lovely girl called Melissa, who also has a blog dedicated to baking and cooking (careerintheover), sent me this recipe for lavish chocolate, pear and pistachio cake. Oh my god, it's amazing. I used organic dark chocolate and organic pears to create this fancy-schmancy cake. It's rich and delicate, while the coarse crumbs of pistachio provide texture in the form of a little crunch. As if it wasn't sumptuous enough, the cake is then coated in a dark chocolate ganache. I'm sure it will impress anyone who loves chocolate!
