This is the latest cake that I baked to bring round to Murray's house for a delightful dinner party hosted by Atip Wananurucks and Natalie Smith and attended by myself and the hilarious Noelle Mcarthy. It's a blueberry and almond cake laced with lemon zest and cinnamon.
Perhaps it's the yogurt and ground almond it contains that gives this cake an interesting, very moist texture. It's quite dense and rich. Delicious none-the-less.
This recipe was adapted from an old Marie Clare cook book. I used yogurt instead of the specified sour cream and double the amount of blueberries.

I've had a few enquiries about price and other details regarding my cake business. I'm currently in the process of ordering business cards and cake boxes amongst many other things but once most of these aspects are sorted I will get onto taking orders and getting my bake on! At this stage I'm looking at charging $28 per cake including beautiful packaging and delivery.
